About Us
Zagursky's Pierogies have been making Pierogies in Mantua, Ohio for two years. The main goal from the very get-go was to produce a high quality pierogie that tasted as good as Grandma's.
The Zagursky pierogie makers not only make a regular selection of P's, but are always looking to produce seasonal/ limited availability variety's using fresh fruit from the local orchard, potatoes from a local farmer, or developing something truly original like the "PAW-rogie".tm A Pierogi designed for the family dog, but is also a healthy alternative for the dogs Human counterpart... It is a whole wheat Pierogi filled with Brown Rice,Peas and Carrots.
Caren, the main driving force behind the "PAW-rogietm, is always looking for ways to share the news about Zagursky's quality products... for both two and four legged customers. She has been known for chasing down dogs out on a walk with their human in order to offer them a sample and introduce them to the "PAW-rogie" tm. She even competed in a "RUN,BIKE,KAYAK" Race wearing a large Pierogi on her head. Not very aerodynamic, but it was good for some laughs. "POWERED BY PIEROGIES" is her motto.
